Personally I think there are more advantages to technology, but everyone has there own opinion. But here are some things that I feel are advantages of it. You can do work more efficiently, it is more organized an example is if you write a essay on paper you can lose it very easily but if you type it up it can be saved on your computer or a USB stick. The last advantage i can think of is downloading, you can get any song or music video for free instead of buying it,yes this is illegal but come on everyone does it. There are disadvantage as well to this, jobs that were done by hand will be all gone, use up a lot of energy, can make you lazy, such as video games and Internet access could have possible bad effects on areas such as your health, people are getting fatter and fatter. You would have less conversations face to face because of e-mail or the phone, or text messages, msn, facebook.

  2. I agree with a lot of what Cody has brought up in this blog post. Just to add to what he has said, I think the most alarming problem that is occurring in our generation (maybe not our age, but the younger kids) is the fact that kids these days have minimal to zero ability or desire to interact socially with adults or people that are older than them. When I was brought up I was always told to respect my elders and listen to what they had to say. Now a days if kids aren't receiving an email or text on their Blackberry from across the dinner table at Christmas, they just aren't going to listen to anything anyone says. Lets face it Grandma and Grandpa haven't picked up the nuances of BBM yet, they just figured out the internet. This is something that I find not only offensive, but very scary. Where will these technological advances put our society in the coming years when these people are running our world?
