Cheetah Woods
We all know what has happened with Tiger Woods and his wife...oh and the other half of the female population in the world he has slept with. Without technology would this news story even have been newsworthy. Its a question I ask myself every day. Had Elin (Tiger's *cough cough* wife) not been able to see the "dirty" texts he had been sending to these other ladies, or even able to go through his phone and see all of the random phone numbers she would have had zero suspicion of his numerous, and I mean numerous "transgressions". I really like Tiger, as a golfer and a person. But lets face it, he really screwed up, really really bad and he has no one to blame but himself. However, when you hear that over 80% of athletes/celebrities are untrue to their spouses, it just goes to show you that the only difference between Tiger and the rest of these famous people is that he got caught. This just goes to show you that technology can be a very good thing, but at the same time can create some very messy problems for people of all backgrounds. I completely agree with the above post. All of this mess would have not discovered or not have been made so public if it were not for technology. I feel Tiger deserved to have been caught and I am so glad technology supplied the answers his wife had been searching for. Like Tyler had mentioned, there are many people who I am sure are in the same position and he just happened to be caught. Technology allowed for this situation to occur in multiple ways. First of all, if Tiger was unable to be in contact with multiple women, via texting, phone calls or emails, this circumstance would have been avoidable. Second of all, if the technology didn’t exist for his wife to be suspicious, he would have not been caught and the lying and cheating would have continued.
